Perfect Timing?

How nice of Harlow Cuadra to file a post-conviction relief petition in the same month that our book was due to be released - nothing like getting some media coverage for Cobra Killer before we mailed out galleys. There was even a blogger's comment that covered this story which really caught our attention:

"The timing of the appeal and the book's pending release are purely coincidental we're sure. But perhaps Cuadra will get a free copy of the book for helping generate a little publicity."

Coincidental? Yes..

Publicity? Some.

Will Harlow get a free copy of the book? No.

Even though Harlow isn't the book's publicist, his help is certainly appreciated, nonetheless!

  1. Actually the book is banned from all Pennsylvania SCI's. In part, for Harlow's sake.

    1. there are legal ways of getting around that ....I will make sure Joseph and Harlow both are given "copies"...i already sent Joe the first chapter as well as read off the names and subjects that were mentioned in the book....he explained a lot about certain ones I was not sure about (i.e. bird bubbles and beach)....I look forward to hearing his point of view on various sections.

  2. Why is Amazon listing June 19th as the release date? Has it been pushed back another month?

    1. Hi Anonymous,

The book releases in May, off press, then ships to stores. I have no idea where the 19th came from but given the shipping and unpacking of books and in some cases packing and shipping again, it probably will be early June.
